ABOUT THE TEXAS NATIVE
Howdy, and welcome! You’ve stumbled onto my little corner of the wild web. If you’re so inclined, feel free to stick around, soak up the chaos, and maybe even enjoy the ride!
For those curious—or even mildly interested—this project, affectionately (and yes, legally) dubbed The Texas Native, was born from a simple desire: to create freely and without limitations. This venture thrives on an unrestricted flow of creativity—or, let’s be honest, semi-controlled anarchy—with little semblance of structure. (At least behind the scenes. The front-facing stuff looks pretty polished, if I do say so myself.)
The path of The Texas Native has no predetermined direction, and frankly, I plan to keep it that way. (My project, my rules.) While I naturally gravitate toward creating and sharing content tied to my background and skill set, I have no intention of boxing myself in—and don’t be surprised if I pull the occasional 180-degree turn. Heck, I might even go a year without posting anything… Not like that’s ever happened. Anyway, this platform is my outlet—whatever that might entail—a space where anything is possible (as long as it’s not wildly expensive) and driven by my desire for absolute creative control and unrestrained artistic freedom.
Through The Texas Native, I aim to hold myself accountable—though, let’s be real, I’ll probably be too hard on myself. That said, as long as I’m working to raise my own standards and embracing some form of personal and professional growth, I’ll be happy—and I’ll keep renewing this domain. Ultimately, this isn’t just a project; it’s a borderline artistic, nomadic journey fueled by curiosity, guided by a compass that’s really a Magic 8-Ball, a touch of boredom, and the relentless pursuit of creation.
So yeah, that’s about it, at least for now.
ABOUT TYLER FORE
Oh, gosh. If you’re reading this, you either made it through the above Texas Native section and enjoyed it, or skipped it hoping that my personal bio would be a thrilling read. Well, prepare to be either mildly entertained or deeply disappointed.
Since my “adult job” is outside the creative realm, I mostly embrace photography and storytelling purely for the joy of it. That’s assuming I remember to charge my camera battery and renew my Office365 subscription. When time allows, I dive into personal projects like this website and I occasionally partner with a select few clients who happen to spark my creative spirit.
Texas is home, where I was born, and where I’ve spent most of my life. (Yes, I’ve lived elsewhere, but I just really happen to dig the Texas Hill Country.)
I enjoy conversations with new people, for the most part, and love diving into topics I haven’t explored before. On another note, and one completely unrelated to anything discussed thus far: my coffee intake borders on extreme. However, and this is completely anecdotal, I feel that it is during these caffeine-fueled moments that my brightest—and most half-baked—ideas tend to take flight. I will say that the only thing darker than my coffee is my gallows style sense of humor. It is definitely not for everyone, and that’s fine with me.
I’m not famous—definitely not even in my own mind—nor do I want to be. My BBQ skills are decent enough to earn a little backyard respect. My life has been a blend of the semi-remarkable and the mundane, peppered with endless paperwork (though thankfully, very few papercuts).
I rarely take myself too seriously—something you’ve likely picked up on by now. If that has not made itself apparent, I do not know what to tell you. Writing about myself isn’t exactly my favorite thing to do, yet here I am with an ‘About Me’ section. Maybe I did this out of boredom or mild masochism. Who knows? Time probably won’t tell and I sure as heck do not know.
This blurb, much like my life, is a work in progress. It’s subject to change whenever inspiration strikes, or I go off the rails—which, knowing me, could be anytime. So, stay tuned… or don’t.
